In this post, we'll describe how Sonoma County shelters can coordinate their needs for food distribution. The map above identifies the shelters listed on the FEMA Emergency Shelter System database, and the American Red Cross Shelter database, with updated information from both. All shelter placemarks are linked to a Google Calendar. Shelter managers and Chefs will be allowed access to the editing capability which will be necessary by those involved to coordinate and schedule providing supplies and managing logistics in deliveries to your shelter. Gregory Fearon and Thomas Ells are the organizers, and would be happy to answer questions and assist in its use.
